Engineer Equipment Chief

Engineer Equipment Chiefs coordinate and manage the maintenance and employment of engineer equipment in both horizontal construction and material handling operations. They manage equipment licensing, certification of tactical ground load lifting equipment, equipment repairs, and related metal working in support of mobility, counter-mobility, general, combat engineering, and logistics operations in any environment. Additionally, they manage and coordinate ground maintenance, maintenance management policy, programs, procedures, functions, maintenance automated information systems (MAIS) requirements, and the support of engineer equipment and watercraft.
